As a naturopath and nutritionist I work with a wide range of clients across a varied range of conditions. I do see people for general naturopathy. I have extensive experience in skin health am focused on any condition involving constant or remitting chronic pain.

Healing Skin Program

This program is designed for clients with chronic skin problems such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, accelerated ageing, hormonal skin issues or chemical sensitivity.

The Healing Skin Program establishes the underlying causes of skin problems, which allows the development of an individual treatment plan. Then over a 6-month period progress is tracked and the treatment plan is adapted as required. As part of this program clients receive:

  • An individual treatment plan addressing the underlying causes of their skin problem
  • Comprehensive dietary recommendations
  • Baseline and assessments of skin health
  • Ongoing assessment, care and individual recommendations for skin health and overall well-being
  • Skin care education, resources and recommended at-home treatments
  • A review of all skin care and cosmetics
  • Mindfulness and self-care practices
  • Lifestyle and environmental tips

In addition supplements may be prescribed and pathology testing as required are at an additional cost to the appointments.

Healing Pain Program

This program has been developed for people suffering from chronic pain. It also works with the conditions commonly associated with ongoing pain such as insomnia, fatigue, depression and anxiety. While chronic pain isn’t classified as a disease, it is associated with numerous disease states and conditions, which means this program accommodates pain arising from:

  • Pain associated with the following conditions:
    • Neuropathy
    • Post-injury related pain
    • IBS related pain
    • Low Back pain
    • Oro-facial pain
    • Fibromyalgia and migraines
    • Reproductive e.g. endometriosis related pain
    • Painful bladder syndrome / interstitial cystitis / vulvodynia
    • Auto-immune related pain
  • Associated conditions including:
    • Stress
    • Chronic Fatigue
    • Anxiety
    • Depression
    • Insomnia

The Pain Management Program establishes the underlying biomedical, social and psychological factors associated with chronic pain. Then over a 6-month period strategies are put into place to address each of these areas, progress is tracked and the treatment plan is adapted as required. As part of this program clients receive:

  • An individual treatment plan addressing the underlying drivers of chronic pain
  • Comprehensive dietary recommendations
  • Baseline and ongoing assessments of pain, sleep, mood and quality of life
  • Ongoing assessment, care and individual recommendations pain management health and overall well-being
  • Pain education, resources and recommended at-home treatments
  • Mindfulness and self-care practices
  • Graded exercise, lifestyle and environmental tips
  • Ongoing support and evaluation throughout the 6 month period
